LIDEFA GmbH  – Lighting Design Factory

Our company, LIDEFA Lighting Design Factory Limited, first began in 1996 as Canseven & Kuhn Industry, a distribution company in Germany to supply engineering and project companies with logistic and technical services.

In 1998, due to the demand from our customers, we began to represent and distribute the brands of Gewiss, Artemide, Martini, Arealite, Nowa Plast, Schupa, Technolite, Merze and Mehne in Germany-Bavaria.

In 2000 to answer the demand of our customers, we used our experiences to start to design and manufacture special lighting systems made to order.

Soon after, we supplied the project companies working on the first mega shopping centre in Bursa, Turkey (AS merkez) with European lighting systems.   This is how our company first met the Turkish market.  In 2002, we decided to follow our business in Turkey with our new named company, LIDEFA Limited.

We have supplied many new building projects in Bursa, Turkey with our designs and products.  In 2008, we moved our company to Istanbul to serve our customers more effectively.

Over the past 12 years we increased our product range in technical and decorative lighting, indoor/outdoor lighting and in addition, we have worked together with  engineers on many hotels, shopping centres and airport projects.  We have added many new designs into our lighting portfolio.  We have developed manufacturing techniques to answer the different demands of our customers efficiently.

LIDEFA products are manufactured in accordance with TSE and CE standards.  In addition to this, we carry the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards certificate and the GOST – R certificate which is essential for the Russian Federation market.

Our company has supplied its customers in architectural projects with many boutique style manufactured products which were all manufactured with different requested materials, designs and colours to suit the product, using 3-D software programmes and the essential CNC-Bending, CNC-Fraser and CNC-Turning machines.  These were for different areas like modern design offices.  We have exported many of our products to different country markets.
